Rajarshi Janak University (RJU) is a national university in Nepal. It was established in October 2017 following the passage of a bill by the Parliament of Nepal. The university is primarily based in the Madhesh Province, with its central office located in Janakpur. Named after King Janak, a revered figure in Nepali history, the university aims to promote higher education and research in the region.
